Anomali Unveils New AI Capabilities for Copilot, Expanding Beyond Cybersecurity

Anomali, a leader in AI-powered security operations, has announced significant new capabilities for its flagship platform, Anomali Copilot. The enhancements, designed to extend the platform's utility beyond cybersecurity into IT, fraud, and business risk management, aim to provide organizations with a powerful tool to navigate their data landscapes with unprecedented speed and accuracy.

The upgraded Anomali Copilot now allows security and IT teams to perform sophisticated data searches across petabytes of information, including custom datasets that go beyond typical event logs. Leveraging advanced AI models, the Copilot enables professionals at all skill levels to ask a broad range of questions in over 80 languages, instantly delivering clear, contextual answers. This capability is part of Anomali’s latest innovations aimed at enhancing productivity and decision-making across various domains.

“Our safe and intelligent Anomali Copilot gives our customers visibility on a grand scale to proactively defend and efficiently drive their organizations," said Ahmed Rubaie, CEO of Anomali. "In terms of cost, speed, and performance, there is nothing in the market that is comparable.” Rubaie highlighted that the Copilot is built on the world’s largest repository of global threat intelligence data, combining both Indicators of Compromise (IOCs) and predictive Indicators of Attack (IOAs). This integration helps organizations modernize their operations, automating crucial tasks while seamlessly blending security and IT into the broader business strategy.

Rubaie also noted that the new capabilities enable businesses and government agencies to manage both IT and security challenges within a single cloud-native platform. This expansion reflects Anomali's vision to transcend traditional cybersecurity and address broader big data challenges.

Hugh Njemanze, President and Founder of Anomali, underscored the platform's unique approach, contrasting it with other AI tools that rely on basic large language models. “Unlike other Copilots on the market that are resting their laurels on a basic LLM model or ChatGPT, Anomali’s Copilot uses multiple sophisticated AI models so organizations can get the most actionable information out of their data," he explained. He added that Anomali Copilot goes beyond basic interactions, constructing complex queries and generating custom content tailored to specific customer environments.

Christian Karam, former Deputy CISO at UBS, echoed these sentiments, highlighting Anomali Copilot's ability to quickly process large datasets and provide contextualized insights based on each customer's unique environment. “Anomali has consolidated into one simple, unparalleled, and versatile unified platform," Karam said. "Combining their data lake, ETL, SIEM, XDR, UEBA, TIP, and IT observability capabilities, Anomali Copilot extends beyond security into fraud and business risk insights.”

In addition to expanding functionality, Anomali Copilot aims to demystify security and IT for management, enabling senior leaders to engage with these critical areas as they would any other business risk. By leveraging the world’s largest repository of threat intelligence data, the platform reduces false positives and enhances decision-making accuracy, supporting a more proactive approach to security and IT management.

The platform also provides significant benefits in terms of talent retention and operational efficiency. By allowing junior analysts to perform at the level of senior analysts without needing to master complex query languages, Anomali Copilot reduces analysis time significantly. According to Anomali, one customer reported reducing their investigation search time from an average of 44 minutes to just 40 seconds using the Copilot.

“Anomali Copilot improves security posture and IT visibility, helps organizations retain talent, and gives senior management direct purview over other critical business drivers,” said Anthony Aurigemma, Chief Revenue Officer at Anomali. He noted that the platform's expanded use cases now include IT asset management, fraud detection, supply chain risk management, and HR analytics.

With these enhancements, Anomali Copilot is poised to redefine how organizations approach both security and IT, offering a robust tool to manage and mitigate risks across a growing array of domains.
