Adlumin, a security operations platform and managed detection and response (MDR) service provider for mid-market organizations, has announced the promotion of Dan McQuade to Chief Technology Officer. As a founding member of Adlumin's engineering team, McQuade has been instrumental in the development and expansion of Adlumin's Security Operations Platform, which provides comprehensive security solutions to organizations through SIEM, vulnerability scanning, UEBA threat hunting, and more.
In his new role as CTO, McQuade will oversee the technology development and expansion of Adlumin's platform, which aims to provide mid-market organizations with accessible cybersecurity tools they can use independently or in collaboration with managed security services providers. McQuade's promotion comes at a time when mid-market organizations are increasingly targeted by cybercriminals, and Adlumin's platform aims to address this challenge by amplifying the skills and capabilities of managed service providers.
McQuade, who has worked in the technology and startup space for over a decade, holds a BA from Georgetown University and is currently pursuing an MS in Information Security Engineering from The SANS Technology Institute. Prior to his promotion to CTO, McQuade served as Vice President of Engineering at Adlumin, where he oversaw the deployment of core functionality within the Security Operations Platform and managed the company's cloud infrastructure.
Adlumin's patented, cloud-native Security Operations Platform is purpose-built to extend the skills and capabilities of service providers. Its multitenancy allows service providers to monitor emerging threats across their customer base and take action without the need to traverse different environments. With Adlumin's platform, mid-market organizations can benefit from 24x7 human insights, threat hunting, and trusted support.
