Invary Boosts System Security With Innovative Runtime Integrity Solutions and New Funding

Invary, known for its pioneering Runtime Integrity solutions, has successfully secured $3.5 million in seed funding. The round, led by Flyover Capital and SineWave Ventures, marks a crucial phase for Invary as it aims to enhance the confidentiality and security of systems across both federal and commercial sectors.

With exclusive rights to technology initially developed by the National Security Agency (NSA), Invary is set to transform the landscape of confidential computing. The company's groundbreaking approach is designed to maintain systems’ integrity in real-time, offering robust protection against increasingly sophisticated cyber threats.

"The era of reactive cybersecurity is over," Dr. Patricia Muoio, former Chief of the NSA’s Trusted Systems Research Group and newly appointed board member at Invary, stated emphatically. "With Invary's Runtime Integrity solutions, enterprises can finally play offense, not just defense."

Invary's technology stack includes the Windows Kernel and groundbreaking eBPF Runtime Integrity solutions, complementing its established Linux Runtime Integrity framework. This enhancement enables continuous, state-based verification, vital for detecting advanced malware and zero-day threats that traditional security measures often miss.

Dan Kerr, Partner at Flyover Capital, highlighted the company's impact: "By demonstrating its capabilities within critical government systems, Invary has set the stage for a broader adoption in the private sector, heralding a new era for runtime security."

The new funding will also fuel the development and deployment of Invary's solutions, including support for Trusted Execution Environments (TEE) like AMD’s SEV-SNP, ensuring that systems remain secure throughout their operational lifecycle.

Invary’s CEO, Jason Rogers, detailed their strategic vision, "Our upcoming eBPF Runtime Integrity solution, developed in collaboration with the NSA’s Trusted Mechanisms group, exemplifies our commitment to safeguarding runtime environments against unauthorized changes."

As cybersecurity becomes a critical priority for organizations globally, Invary's innovative solutions are timely. They are designed not just to protect but to integrate seamlessly with existing enterprise systems, providing an essential layer of security that supports a Zero Trust architecture. This capability is pivotal as enterprises increasingly rely on digital infrastructure that spans multiple platforms and environments.

With Invary's continued innovation and expansion, the future of cybersecurity looks promising, as more organizations will be equipped to defend against and preemptively tackle cyber threats, ensuring the security and integrity of critical data and systems.
