Movers and Shakers: Ajay Garg Joins Saviynt as Chief Development Officer

Saviynt, a leader in cloud-native identity governance solutions, has made a significant addition to its executive team with the appointment of Ajay Garg as Chief Development Officer. In this role, Garg will lead the engineering teams driving innovation and growth for Saviynt’s Identity Cloud platform, marking a strategic move for the company at a critical time in its evolution.

Garg brings a wealth of experience from Palo Alto Networks, where he served as Vice President of Engineering. At Palo Alto Networks, he led a global engineering team that developed AI-driven advanced security solutions across Data Security, SaaS Security, WildFire, and Internet Security. His track record of fostering high-performance engineering cultures and delivering cutting-edge solutions positions him to drive Saviynt’s platform to new heights.

A Vision for Growth and Innovation

As Chief Development Officer, Garg will oversee Engineering, Quality Engineering, Infrastructure (DevOps), and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams. His mission will be to scale Saviynt’s engineering capabilities while ensuring the platform’s architecture continues to meet the evolving demands of cloud-based identity security.

A Proven Track Record

Garg’s career highlights include serving as Global VP of Engineering at CyberCube Analytics, where he led the development of its industry-leading Cyber Risk Analytics platform. Before that, he held key engineering leadership roles at FireEye and Cisco Systems, driving advancements in cloud security, identity management, threat analytics, secure access, firewall security, and content security.
