Radware Partners with Cirion Technologies to Enhance Cloud DDoS Protection Across Latin America

Radware (NASDAQ: RDWR), a prominent player in the application security and delivery sector, has announced a strategic move to bolster its presence in Latin America. The company has signed a managed security service provider (MSSP) agreement with Cirion Technologies, a leading digital infrastructure provider with over three decades of industry experience. This partnership will see Cirion integrate Radware’s cutting-edge Cloud DDoS Protection Service into its security offerings, providing enhanced protection to clients across the region.

Cirion Technologies, a well-established name in Latin America, operates an extensive network that spans 20 countries. With more than 5,500 clients, including both regional and multinational companies, Cirion is a significant player in the digital infrastructure landscape. The company boasts 18 data centers and over 95 direct connections to carriers and cloud providers, positioning it as a key player in the region's network and data services.

Eduardo Freitas, Senior Director of Data Products at Cirion, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “Through our strategic partnership with Radware, we intend to offer our customers a premium security-as-a-service solution that delivers automatic protection, faster mitigation, better accuracy, and excellence in service and support. Radware’s unique and customized MSSP model not only enables us to get into market faster, but also meet the DDoS protection needs of a wide range of customers across the region— from small businesses and enterprises to downstream internet service providers.”

The agreement marks an expansion of an existing channel relationship between Radware and Cirion, reflecting the growing demand for sophisticated security solutions in a region increasingly targeted by cyber threats. Radware’s Cloud DDoS Protection Service leverages AI-powered technology to identify and block malicious traffic while maintaining the integrity of legitimate data flows. The service is designed to handle the latest wave of layer 7 Web DDoS attacks, providing robust protection against a variety of threats.

Arie Simchis, Radware’s Regional Director for Latin America, highlighted the significance of the expanded partnership. “We look forward to an expanded relationship with Cirion, helping them open new revenue streams while delivering state-of-the-art cloud DDoS protection for organizations across Latin America. As cyber attacks increase in sophistication and grow exponentially in number, more organizations are opting for hosted security services and entrusting leading providers like Cirion with protecting their networks and applications.”

In addition to the Cloud DDoS Protection Service, Radware also provides Cirion with its Cloud Application Protection Services, which include web application firewalls, bot management, and comprehensive API and client-side protection. These services are managed through Radware’s integrated cloud portal, which centralizes attack management and real-time monitoring, offering detailed analytics and reporting to streamline operations and enhance security measures.
